This cylinder head, featuring a computer-generated gas flow design, is expanding the performance capabilities of the classic B-series engine. Expect immediate improvements in both performance and cooling. The heads come fully assembled with standard-size valves, bronze guides, and hardened seats. The exhaust ports are positioned in their original location, allowing for the use of standard early manifolds or headers. We recommend the MGA LCB header (454-855) as it is highly visible. The head requires a new four-branch intake manifold and matching carburetors. You can choose from three different manifold and carburetor options below. The Weber DCOE manifold kit and 45 DCOE carbs offer the highest flow potential for maximum power in modified engines. There are no provisions for emission connections, and some modifications may be needed for optimal performance. The manifold kits include intake gaskets and some linkage parts, but due to the variety of applications, some customization might be necessary. Accelerator cables are not included and will need to be fabricated. Be sure to check for possible valve interference!
