  • Condition: Project / Needs Work
  • Price: $32,500
This 1939 BMW 327/28 Coupe is one of only 86 examples produced making it an extremely rare and collectible model. A very original car just out of a large European collection. During the 1930s, BMW became known for its excellent six-cylinder models, which set new standards for the era. Arguably the most elegant of these was the 327, which was launched in 1937. From 1938, the more powerful 328 engine became available in the 327, which was designated somewhat ambiguously as 327/28. Among the most desirable variants was the 327/28, which benefited from a triple-carburetted 1,971 cc straight-six engine producing 80 horsepower. Production, which continued through 1940, comprised 482 Sport cabriolets, 86 Sport coupes, and one bare chassis. This rare and sought-after BMW is well worth the effort to restore.
